In the Beledweyne region of Somalia, it was reported that 48 people were killed in the bomb attacks organized by the Al-Shabab terrorist organization yesterday.
Ali Gudlawe, President of Somalia’s Hirshabelle State, stated that 48 people were killed and 108 injured in the two attacks in Beledweyne.
It was learned that one of the attacks was a suicide act and the other was carried out with a bomb-laden vehicle.

A woman MP named Amine Muhammed Abdi is among those who lost their lives. It was reported that the bombing attacks took place before the parliamentary elections in the region and that the female parliamentarian Muhammed was also conducting election campaigns.
President Mohammed Abdullah Fermaju and Prime Minister Mohammed Hussein Roble condemned the attacks. (AA)
