On September 13, the police and emergency services were called to Stenhagen after a bomb alarm. A large area was cordoned off and people were evacuated from their homes.
At Östra Stenhagenskolan, principal Kim Milint made the decision to house the school.
– We received information that a police operation was underway from the residents in the area. I tried to contact the police to confirm but could not get hold of them. Then I made a decision about housing for everyone’s safety,
“Guardians have been worried”
The bomb alarm then turned out to be false and the police were able to lift the cordons after a couple of hours. But at Stenhagenskolan they still remember the incident.
– This autumn, a lot of time has been spent informing and talking to guardians, who have been worried based on the events in Stenhagen, she explains.
