Parts of Stockholm’s central station were cordoned off on Wednesday after a bomb alarm and the National Bomb Squad was called to the scene.
– What I can say is that we are checking an object, but cannot comment on how it was found. Several patrols are on site, says the police spokesperson Nadia Norton.
Several people arrested
At 7:15 p.m., the barriers were lifted according to TT’s dispatcher on site.
According to information to The Express several people have been arrested, but the police do not want to comment on that.
According to the police, there was no reason to stop the train traffic. However, tracks 1–7 were blocked off, which led to track changes.
