A hotel in Hammarby sjöstad in Stockholm had to be evacuated on the night of Monday after a fire in the foyer, reports Aftonbladet.

The alarm came just before 03. All staff and hotel guests were evacuated and police cordoned off the area around the hotel while waiting for bomb technicians.

– It is a safety measure. There are witness statements that someone threw in something that exploded, says duty officer Jenny Ryberg to the newspaper.

No one has been injured and one person has been arrested in connection with the hotel. The criminal suspicion is initially general destruction.
