The two presidential candidates in Brazil have met in the last televised debate before the decisive election round on Sunday.
Opinion polls show a lead for the left-wing candidate Lula da Silva, but in the first round the support for the right-wing candidate Jair Bolsonaro was greatly underestimated.
In the final debate, accusations of corruption, gross mismanagement and lies rained down on both candidates.
– You claim that you are the friend of the poor, but in 2020, during the Covid shutdown, we gave the poor financial support, says Bolsonaro.
– The only thing you did was refuse people vaccines at the right moment so that over 300,000 people died unnecessarily, says Silva.
