(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Guglielmo Marconi Airport in Bolognaa company listed on Euronext STAR Milan which manages the Bologna airport, registered 872,805 passengers, up both on April 2022 (+20.4%) and on April 2019 (+9.5% on the pre-Covid period). The progressive yearlyequal to a total of 2,674,214 passengers for the January-April period, is instead positive on 2022 (+34.1%), but still lower than in the first four months of 2019 (-3.0%).
In detail, in April 2023 passengers up domestic flights were 206,418 (+9.3% on the same month of 2022 and +28.2% on April 2019), while passengers on international flights there were 666,387, up on 2022 (+24.3%) and on 2019 (+4.8%).
THE aircraft movements in April there were 6,352, up by 12.2% on 2022 and by 2.5% on 2019. Volumes of goods transported by air, equal to 3,071 tons, -5.8% on 2022 and -1.7% on 2019.
The most flown destinations in April 2023, also thanks to the Easter holidays and spring long weekends, were above all the European capitals and Southern Italy. This the top ten destinations: Catania, Barcelona, Palermo, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Madrid, Brindisi, Tirana, London Heathrow, Istanbul and Frankfurt.
