AMERSFOORT – Femke Bol won silver in the 400 meters at the world indoor championships in Belgrade. The 22-year-old athlete from Amersfoort only had to tolerate Olympic champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo from the Bahamas in the final. He won in 50.31 seconds, Bol was second in 50.57. The bronze went to Jamaica’s Stephenie-Ann McPherson in 50.79.
