The reigning 400m hurdles world champion Femke Bol proved to be in good shape in the “warm-up” race for the Paris Olympics, the Diamond League in London. The Dutchman ran to an overwhelming victory in the race and stopped the clock at 51.30. This is a race record and the second fastest time of his career.
Last weekend, Bol ran a new European record of 50.95 in La Chaux-de-Fonds. He is currently second on the world list, while the first place is occupied by the American who ran a new world record of 50.65 in June Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone. The meeting between the two is expected to be one of the most interesting events of the Paris Olympics.
The United States came second in the London race Shamier Little with a time of 52.78 and Jamaican third Russell Clayton with a time of 53.24.
