The Dutch women’s team for the 4×400 meters has not yet managed to qualify for the Games. Eveline Saalberg, Myrte van der Schoot, Lisanne de Witte and Cathelijn Peeters finished third in their series (3.28.10) and will get a second chance on Sunday. The intention is for Bol and Klaver to strengthen the team. The duo was given a rest because they had competed for the mixed relay team. The Netherlands won the world title in this event in Budapest last year.
