Norfolk County officials announced Saturday that water had been restored to Talbot Street residents affected by a service disruption.

Test results have confirmed the county’s water distribution system is operating properly and that the water is safe for consumption.
Boiling water for at least one minute and other precautions before using and drinking the water are no long required, county officials said in a statement released Saturday.
The advisory was issued Thursday when county officials announced a temporary disruption of water service due to issues that came up during the ongoing Talbot Street reconstruction project.
