A Media Release Issued Just Before 12:30 AM Tuesday by Chatham-Kent Public Health, Said the Boil Water Advisory Covers The Following Areas:
Mitchell’s Bay
- Winterline RD
- Bay line up to and include the community of mitchell’s bay
- Winterline RD North of Mitchell’s Bay Up to and include Haven Line and Bassette Line
Tall point
- 7219 St. Philippes Line and Properties to the West Up to the Intersection of St. Philippes Line and Winterline Road.
- 7142 & 7143 St. Philippes Line and Properties to the West Up to 25658 Jacob Road.
- Jacob RD – South of St. Philippes Line to 25507 Jacob Rd
- Big Pointe RD – North of St. Philippes Line Up to 6481 Mallard Line.
- All Customers on Municipal Water North of the Intersection of St. Philippes Line and Winterline Road Including 7255 Marsh Line and 7202 Angler Line.

Acting Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Shanker Nesathurai, is Advising Residents to Bring the Water to Rolling Boil for at Least One Minute Prior to Using It For Domestic Purposses.
This included Drinking, Making Infant Formula and Juice, Brushing Teeth, Washing Raw Foods and Making Ice, The Health Unit Added. Alternatively, Safe Bottled Water Sources can be used for consumption.
The Reason for the Boil Water Advisory is due to a loss in water press through the distribution system, the health unit
This Advisory Measure is in place UNTIL the Health Unit Additional Information from the water operator, The Health Unit Said.
