The American aircraft manufacturer Boeing will continue negotiations with the employee side on Wednesday.
The union IAM and Boeing have disagreements over pay and pensions.
Last week, nearly 95 percent of the IAM’s 30,000 members rejected a wage increase proposed by Boeing and announced they were ready to strike.
The aircraft manufacturer was ready to accept a 25 percent salary increase over four years, which was, however, clearly below the 40 percent increase demanded by the employees.
