The police arrested the man on the spot and when they checked the man’s apartment in the residential area of Nydala, they discovered remains. The man was arrested and is now suspected of murder and breach of the peace of mind. – It is the initial information that we receive from this man that makes us do this check, but we cannot say more than that at the moment, says Nils Norling, press spokesperson in Malmö. During Wednesday, the police will work to identify the remains and go through all reports of missing persons in the area. They will also hold further interviews with the man. According to the police, the suspect has no connections to criminal circles in Malmö.
