Paddlers raised the alarm at 19:12 after finding a dead person at Norr Mälarstrand, reports P4 Stockholm.
– We are there to find out the circumstances, says Nadya Norton, press spokesperson in the Stockholm police region to TV4 Nyheterna.
The person has not been identified and the police currently have no information on how long the body was in the water.
