Body found in burnt-out car – police suspect murder

Last night a car caught fire in Alnarp in Scania. The police suspect that a person may have been in the car and have opened a murder investigation. Shortly before midnight on Saturday evening, police were alerted to a burning car near the agricultural university in Alnarp in Lomma municipality, north of Malmö. – It was an extensive fire and the emergency services were there, says Filip Annas, the police’s press officer. At lunchtime on Sunday, the police announced that they suspect murder. “What is suspected to be a human body is found in the car, which has not yet been identified,” they write on their website. “Must take this seriously” TV4 News’ Mikael Nilsson is on site in Alnarp. – The information has been strengthened that it is a human body that will now be transported to the Forensic Medicine Agency for analysis, he says.
