(Finance) – Margherita Della Valle, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Committee of the Vodafone Groupis the Alumna of the year 2022. Della Valle is one of the 15 female CFOs in the FTSE 100 companies according to The Female FTSE Board Report 2021 and has been elected Chairman of 100 Group, the association that brings together the CFOs of the FTSE 100 .
The recognition is conferred today on the occasion of a gala evening by the Bocconi Alumni Community (today over 130,000 members gathered in 72 chapters around the world) as, every year since 1987, to an alumnus or an alumna who have particularly distinguished themselves.

After graduating in 1988 in Economic and Social Disciplines, Della Valle began his professional career in the study and strategic planning office of Montedison. In 1994 he joined Omnitel covering various roles, from marketing to customer management to entering Finance, building a career in which he used numbers in executive functions and with strategic responsibilities. Since then Della Valle has risen to the top of the Vodafone Group, holding the role of CFO for Vodafone Italia from 2004 to 2007, Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the Vodafone Group from 2015 to 2018, and in 2018 becoming Chief Financial Officer of the Group.
