Upon receiving a call for help from the 15-meter-long boat, which was dragged off the coast of Kos due to a machine failure and took water, the KIYEM-6 rapid rescue (life-saving) boat, located in the region belonging to the General Directorate of Coastal Security, was dispatched to the region.
After the rescue boat drained the water in the flooded boat, it was backed up on the KIYEM-6 boat and docked safely in Bodrum.
