Province of Utrecht – In Utrecht, one new infection with the bluetongue virus has been detected. In the Netherlands as a whole, there are a total of 93 positive cases of bluetongue. The revival is causing concern among farmers and hobbyists, but according to the ministry, the infections are consistent with the time of year.
