Jennifer Esposito played police officer Jackie Curatola in the first three seasons of Blue Bloods. Due to stress and burnout problems, her character left the series. Esposito later returned as a guest star. Nevertheless, the actress has now spoken to Screen Rant about her new role. very understanding and approving about the upcoming Blue Bloods ending:
Everything must come to an end, and I think they are smart to end it now, It was a long time. I’ve had some great moments, of course I’ve had some that weren’t exactly fun. But I love Donnie, I’ve met some great people there, and honestly, the fans – I still get asked, ‘Are you going to come back to Blue Bloods?!’ And I’m like, ‘That was like 10 years ago!’ [kichert] It really warms my heart, so I can’t be mad. It was nice to come back.
While the end of Blue Bloods comes at the right time for the actress, Tom Selleck may be fighting for the future of the series for financial reasons.
In the US, the final 14th season of Blue Bloods was broadcast from February 16, 2024. The last episodes are to be broadcast by October to December 2024 consequences.
A German start date for season 14 is not yet known. The first 13 seasons are currently available to stream on Sky’s WOW.
