Council member Anne Sasbrink of the Party for the Animals asked questions about the fallen tree, and almost all fellow politicians agreed. The alderman indicated that no new ash will be planted, because ash branch death is prevalent in the city. She also comes up with a plan to be able to switch more quickly if trees are blown over more often in the future.
