Italy is currently negotiating with the SpaceX company for a communication system worth 1.5 billion euros, the American Bloomberg News reported on Sunday.
Italy wants the government to implement a system capable of guaranteeing secure internet and phone traffic, Bloomberg reports.
Elon Musk’s piloted by SpaceX manufactures and operates space rockets and develops the Starlink satellite system.
