Bloomberg All Lufthansa planes are grounded due to a computer

American media company Bloomberg (you will switch to another service) according to the airline Lufthansa, all flights have been banned. The reason for the ban is a bug in the computer system that affects the entire company.

Lufthansa tells Reuters that it cannot confirm that the ban applies to all of the company’s flights. However, Lufthansa has confirmed that a computer error has canceled and delayed several flights.

According to Lufthansa, the cause of the failure is fiberglass cables damaged during construction work. The company says the repair work will last until Wednesday afternoon.

Bild describes (you switch to another service) the situation at the Frankfurt and Munich fields as “chaotic”.

Due to the fault, at least a few flights departing from and arriving at Helsinki-Vantaa have been cancelled. According to German air traffic control, all flights bound for Frankfurt airport will be diverted elsewhere.
