The bloodied copy of the book is a work of art that goes by the title “Blood money”, and is available in 25 copies. The blood has been donated by Afghans and the number of specimens is supposed to correspond to the 25 people the prince himself claims to have killed during his service in Afghanistan, writes NTB.
Behind the artwork is the Russian anti-war artist Andrey Molodkin.
“Prince Harry brags about killing Taliban as if they were villains in a computer game. He undervalues human life and then makes money from talking about it,” the artist told Sky News.
The version is scheduled to go on sale on May 2, four days before the coronation of the prince’s father, King Charles, in Britain, according to Sky News.
The price for a book is stated to be 8,000 pounds, equivalent to 97,000 kroner. The money will go to Afghan charities.
Prince Harry has been criticized for killing 25 people, which he stated in his autobiography. According to the book, it wasn’t a number he was happy with, but also not something he was ashamed of.
