“Bloodbath” if I lose the election

Speaking at a campaign rally for Senate candidate Bernie Moreno outside Dayton, Ohio on Saturday, Donald Trump began by praising his chosen candidate. Moreno was described, among other things, as “America’s first champion”, reports CBS.

At the speech, which was then characterized by harsh rhetoric, Trump took the opportunity to hand out some boots to the country’s current president, Joe Biden.

“Will be a bloodbath”

Trump then warned that a loss in the US election in November would have consequences.

– If I am not elected, there will be a bloodbath. It will be a bloodbath for the country, he said.

This while he was talking about the car industry in the US as well as the plans to impose punitive tariffs on cars made abroad.

Trump: Democracy under threat

The ex-president then claimed that a Trump loss would threaten democracy in the country.

– If I don’t win, I’m not sure there will be any more elections in this country, Trump claims.

The statements prompted James Singer, spokesman for Biden’s presidential campaign, to hit back.

“The American people will hand him another electoral defeat in November because they will continue to reject his extremism, his penchant for violence and his thirst for revenge,” Singer said on Saturday.
