The current in-game event of Diablo 4 is causing some confusion in the community. The Blizzard developers are taking this as an opportunity to keep an extremely useful buff active for longer than the intended ten days.
What kind of buff is this? The anniversary version of Mother’s Blessing was supposed to go live at a later date and give all players 25 percent more experience and 50 percent more gold for ten days.
Since part of the community had already expected the blessing at the start of the Diablo 4 anniversary celebrations, the buff is already active until June 20th. In the official Diablo 4 forum, Community Manager PezRadar explains:
“The original plan was to go live in a few days, but we’ve heard the feedback and confusion around this, so we’ll be switching the Mother’s Blessings campaign live this afternoon at 1:00 p.m. PDT.
We will update the blog accordingly with this information. The event will no longer last just ten days, but until June 20th (the end of the anniversary event). We welcome all comments and feedback.”

However, according to PezRadar, the buff will grant 35 percent more experience and 35 percent more gold by next week, and will only switch to the normal bonuses with patch 1.4.2.
Stingy goblins for the anniversary
Hotfix for March of the Goblins: In the same post, Community Manager PezRadar announced that some event participants have complained about the stingy goblins that will be roaming Sanctuary from June 6 to June 13, 2024.
“We’ve seen feedback that the goblins are pretty stingy. […] We are currently reviewing some numbers and want to make sure we can provide an appropriate update.”
An update followed a few hours ago: The developers have discovered possible solutions and are testing the hotfix this evening. The bug fix will then go live tomorrow morning.
