The guest list included both decision-makers from the county’s municipalities, the County Administrative Board, the Armed Forces and several business representatives. But from the beginning it is Region Blekinge that stands behind the initiative, which on paper is called “Kraftkommission Blekinge”.
Offshore wind power
During the day, Region Blekinge and a number of municipalities held a dialogue about defense interests and the development of offshore wind power.
– We do not want to jeopardize the position of the armed forces in Blekinge, on the contrary, but we have to find a coexistence, says Christina Mattisson (S), chairman of the regional board.
