The Spring Memorandum 2023 that the municipality published yesterday contained good news for the library. Although Utrecht has to cut back about 70 million euros, extra money will go to the library. For example, in 2024 the library will receive extra compensation for price increases and alderman Eerenberg (D66) plans to make up the rest of the shortfall when determining the budget for next year.
