De Bilt – The godwit has bred more successfully in the Netherlands in the past year than in 2022. The meadow bird has done particularly well in Utrecht, South Holland and Gelderland. LandschappenNL, the partnership of the provincial landscape organizations, gives the breeding success of the vulnerable bird species a very low passing grade, but it cannot yet be called good, according to the organization.
