The new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has a new feature called Omnimovement. The returning zombie mode is perfect for this one.
What is Omnimovement? Behind this word lies a completely new feature of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. For the first time, you can perform almost all movements in any direction without losing speed. So you can no longer just run forward, but you can also effortlessly rush to the side or backwards.

In CoD: Black Ops 6 you can’t only perform certain moves in the forward direction – as before. Rather, you can now move like a 90s action hero in any direction using the same maneuvers.
Omnimovement allows you to perform all possible movements in all horizontal directions. So if you want to move left or right and sprint at the same time, that works perfectly now. If you want to slide forward or backward, just do it!
Try out the new options and you’ll quickly get the hang of it. Then nothing stands in the way of an action-packed adventure in which you jump, slide and dive in all directions. Call of Duty has never been as fast and dynamic as with Black Ops 6!
If you’re new to CoD: Black Ops 6, start with the zombies!
What is zombie mode? This special game mode was first introduced in Call of Duty: World at War in 2008 and has since been an integral part of the game in most CoD installments and in all episodes developed by Treyarch.
The current version in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a co-op game mode in which you fight countless horrible undead. Once you have killed all enemies, another round begins with even more and stronger enemies. Meanwhile, you collect valuable upgrades and solve quests on the map to defy the ever-growing horde.

The game ends when you can either save yourself on a helicopter at certain times in the game or are ultimately overrun by the smelly mob.
That sounds like a lot of fun and it is. But zombie dismemberment is good for so much more!
Zombies are good for the new Omnimovement feature
The new Omnimovement is a cool feature, but it takes some practice to master. In multiplayer mode, encountering skilled human opponents can be stressful.
But luckily there are zombies in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The rotten undead move relatively quickly, but are still slower than your character. This means that you can pull off all sorts of capers in front of the shuffling horde with the new Omnimovement system.
This is quite easy, especially at the beginning of a session with the zombies, because there are only simple undead in manageable numbers. So run happily around them, dive away from them or slide into their legs and destroy them with melee weapons.
Later, when really massive mobs appear and put you through the wringer, you will really need the diverse maneuvering options of Omnimovement. Because once the scruffy fellows have surrounded you, you’ll quickly find yourself on the ground and possibly lose your valuable, hard-collected power-ups.

Speaking of power-ups: There is even an item, namely the drink “Dr. Rivet”, which triggers an explosion every time you make a diving jump. So in zombie mode you are encouraged to use as much of Omnimovement as possible.
Zombies bring quick level-ups in weapons and equipment
But “Wait a minute!” some of you might say. “You can also try out Omnimovement in the single-player campaign and experience the cool story about betrayal and espionage!”. Yes, that’s right, but in single player mode you don’t get any experience pointsto increase your player level and weapon levels.
However, in zombie mode this is an integral part of the game mechanics. So if you rearrange the ugly face of a disgusting zombie with the shotgun, you will receive points for each kill to increase the weapon level.
And if you do well, you’ll earn a lot of experience points at the end of the round, even if the zombies catch you at the end and give you an all-you-can-eat brain buffet. Especially if you don’t have a high player level yet, several level ups are often possible after just one zombie session!
These levels, in turn, are extremely important because this is the only way you get access to new and more effective weapons, killstreaks, equipment and perks. So what could be better than happily taking down lots of zombies with friends and then unlocking a lot of new and cool weapons and other stuff that you can then use in multiplayer?

Killing zombies is a lot of fun!
Last but not least, the most important thing shouldn’t go unmentioned: It’s just a lot of fun to shoot zombies over the pile! The mindless undead act completely differently than human opponents in multiplayer or the AI enemies in the campaign. They don’t dodge, they don’t use maneuvers and they (most of the time) don’t shoot back.
Instead, they shuffle and stagger straight towards you and nothing is more satisfying than throwing a well-aimed sticky grenade into a sea of rotting monsters or simply firing away to your heart’s content with a fully upgraded machine gun (or even one of the rare miracle weapons!).
It’s fun and you also get achievements and extra points as well as cool one-liner sayings from your character for particularly spectacular zombie dismantling.
In general, a session in zombie mode is an ever-escalating spiral of action, threat and reward, because the more you play, the more areas of the map are revealed to you and you find new ways to further pimp yourself up.
Since the zombies are becoming more numerous and more dangerous with each wave, this is sorely necessary in order not to fall behind. But after just a few tries, everyone gets the hang of it and, especially in co-op with friends, nothing stands in the way of an evening-long zombie party with tons of in-game rewards!
So what are you waiting for? Get the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and heat up the zombies! They are already waiting for you!
