What does Haptic say about gameplay? In the new video, Haptic explains right at the start that he is not allowed to talk about the hands-on session or his impressions. However, he is allowed to say that he has already been able to play BO6 and to repeat information that was given to the content creators during a presentation and a question and answer session.

Nevertheless, he occasionally lets insights into the gameplay shine through in the video, for example by saying: In the reveal event of Black Ops 6, it can be seen and assumed that the time to kill is somewhat higher than in the current Modern Warfare 3. Accordingly, you need more bullets to take out an opponent.

What is Haptic most looking forward to? The HUD. At the reveal event, the developers already showed that this will be customizable. You can then move details like the minimap to a different position or even turn it off.

Haptic says: “I always said: ‘Why don’t they do it like mobile, so that everyone can decide for themselves what their HUD looks like?’ Yes, now you can and that’s the coolest change for me. You can move everything around however you want. You can take things out.”

Haptic also reveals that the shape of the minimap can be changed. You can switch from a small round minimap to a larger, rectangular one, like the one in Black Ops 3.

What is the benefit of HUD customization? On the one hand, this allows you to move the elements of the HUD to places where you can see them better or where they bother you less.

On the other hand, you also have the option of simply turning off elements that only take up space on the screen and provide unnecessary information. This makes the screen tidier and – depending on your settings – only provides the information that you really need to play.

On top of that, you can also create a hardcore shooter-oriented HUD that hardly gives any information and also removes the minimap. This is interesting if, for example, you want to experience the campaign as immersively as possible or play a private match with friends under more difficult conditions.
