Classes for beginners
Which classes are suitable for beginners? Black Desert offers an action-packed and combo-heavy combat system, which can be a bit overwhelming for beginners. That’s why it’s important to us that the classes are easy to understand and useful.
Therefore, four classes for beginners in particular have emerged:
That speaks for the Guardian
The Guardian is a melee fighter with relatively few skills and long animations. As a result, you don’t have to learn difficult combos at the beginning, you can just have fun with the skills.
She also has a lot of AoE attacks, which also makes her useful for endgame farming.
That speaks for the Valkyrie:
The Valkyrie uses a sword and shield like the Warrior, but also has useful abilities to heal itself and fellow players.
It is defensive and is particularly suitable for PvE and 1v1 PvP. She also has a long range for a melee fighter.
That speaks for the Maegu
The Maegu is one of the two sister classes released in December 2022 and January 2023 respectively. She fights with the power of the fox goddess and uses a dagger. This causes very strong damage in the early game.
She also does not need heavy combos and has the advantage that she is also really strong in the endgame.
That speaks for the Wusa
The Wusa is the other sister class and has similar pros and cons. It also relies on high damage, an easy start and is also relevant in the endgame.
However, she fights with a fan instead of a dagger.
That speaks for the sorceress
The Sorceress has strong AoE, decent mobility, and is versatile. There are healing skills and the ability to restore mana. In addition, it is quite slow from the game style, so you are not directly overwhelmed. A good magic class for beginners.
That speaks for the ranger
The ranger is the best example of an “easy to learn, hard to master” class. In the early game, her damage is very strong and thanks to her long range, you have no problem taking out enemies. Some evasive attacks also make fighting really fun.
In the endgame, however, you have to kite really well because of the weak defense. This makes it difficult to maintain the initial fun. In addition, she is more of a mid-tier in the endgame overall.
What are the most difficult classes for beginners? The black magician and tamer classes are particularly difficult for newcomers. Both offer little defense and rely heavily on combos, but are more useful in the PvE endgame.
The ninja is also difficult in PvE because it requires knowledge of the combat system. However, he is particularly fun in PvP, which is why mastering the class is definitely worthwhile.
