Black Adam star is said to have spread false information about the “success” of his DC film

The turbulent reports about Dwayne Johnson and Black Adam don’t stop. After the DC blockbuster was initially promised a potential loss of 50 to 100 million dollars, The Rock turned the superhero film into a small success story itself. According to the latest information, this story was falsely disseminated by Johnson himself.

Incorrect information about Black Adam is said to have been intentionally leaked by Team Dwayne Johnson

On Twitter a few days ago, The Rock shared an article by Deadline giving Black Adam a likely win from from 52 to 72 million dollars calculated. In addition, Johnson compared the DC film with the first Captain America part, although it was released in 2011, cost 160 million dollars and not a star workhorse like Dwayne Johnson had in the leading role.

As reported by The Direct, insider Matt Belloni writes in his latest Puck newsletter that the Figures from the Deadline Report are based on incorrect assumptions would.

Belloni has strong doubts that the DC film can reach home theater numbers, which are listed in the Deadline article. The stated marketing costs of 100 million dollars for Black Adam are said to be misleading.
