The Abba legend Björn Ulvaeus79, and his wife Lena Ulvaeus, 73, went their separate ways in February 2022. By then they had been married for a full 41 years. A month after the breakup, Björn left the home in Djursholm that he had previously shared with his wife.
Instead, he then moved to the exclusive district of Östermalm, and one of the most expensive streets in the country. Björn’s apartment is said to have cost a whopping 41 million kroner. The apartment consists of five rooms spread over a total of 250 square meters.

In the summer of 2022, it became clear that Björn has a new girlfriend in the form of the record company woman Christina Sass52. A few months later could News24 reveal that Christina has moved into Björn’s apartment in Östermalm.
The house at Östermalm was built at the end of the 19th century and was designed by the architect Axel Kumlien. He is known for having also been the architect behind the historic Grand Hotel in Stockholm.

Björn Ulvaeus has bought Villa Stora Astringe – from Jonas Bergström
But now Björn Ulvaeus has bought something new to live in. Svensk Dam has revealed that Björn has bought an absolutely magnificent villa on Djurgården in Stockholm. Because Villa Stora Astringe is now in Björn’s possession.
The beautiful yellow turn-of-the-century house has an incredible view of the water, and there is plenty of room to spread out in the house. Namely, it is 285 square meters large.

Björn has bought the house from the previous owners – who are also not completely unknown. The princess Madeleine’s ex boyfriend Jonas Bergström and his wife Stephanie Bergström lived in the house before Björn struck. According to information to The Express so Jonas Bergström and Stephanie paid around SEK 30 million for the villa.
Björn Ulvaeus paid significantly more for Villa Stora Astringe. The house was not for sale, but Björn sought out Jonas Bergström and the negotiations could begin.

According to Swedish Lady so Björn paid twice as much – a whopping 60 million kroner the house is said to have cost.

But then he also gets neighbors like the princess Sophia and prince Carl Philipas well as the ABBA colleague Benny Anderssonwho also lives on Djurgården.
Other famous Swedes who live on the exclusive island are the actor Örjan Ramberg and the artist Jonathan Johnson.
According to Svensk Dam, Björn and Christina will move into Villa Stora Astringe this autumn, after some renovations have first been carried out.
