The incident happened at 10 o’clock on Saturday morning when a father and his son were out hunting moose.

The father tells SVT Gävleborg that he and the eleven-year-old son were approaching a hole in the ground, which turned out to be an idea, when the bear suddenly came charging towards the boy.
The father quickly got his rifle up and shot the bear dead before it reached the boy.
– We are fine. We’re sitting out here in the woods waiting for the police. Physically, we are both okay, the father tells SVT.
