Stina Nilsson has had a very tough season.
Much has already been said about the Swedish biathlete.
But now SVT expert Björn Ferry says what everyone is really thinking.
The fourth season as a biathlete was not fun at all Stina Nilsson. The 30-year-old got the chance at the World Cup at the beginning of winter, but after two major disappointments in races, she was kicked from the Swedish A national team.

Ferry about Stina
But there, too, Nilsson didn’t manage to impress particularly and she unfortunately has to summarize a fiasco season where the development did not progress as a biathlete. When the SVT expert Bjorn Ferry handing out grades for the Swedish biathletes, he gives her a second on a five-digit scale.
– Stina Nilsson, the enigma Stina Nilsson. Well, she barely gets a pass. The shooter in the first season was good for being a beginner, but now she is still at that level and it is the fourth season. Stina Nilsson doesn’t want that and I think she has to take a new approach, says Ferry to SVT.

The TV expert still has hopes that Nilsson can reverse this bad trend and become successful in biathlon.
– I think Stina can turn this around and maybe get a fourth next year, then a fifth in two years. But then she has to rethink and do something new. Go back to being the boss of your own venture. I think that could be the model going forward, admits Ferry.

Among the other biathletes, sheep Hanna Öberg a third, Elvira Öberg also a third and also Lynn Persson gets a third. While popular Mona Brorsson gets five out of five possible.
– Great! It’s Mona’s last season and she ends her career on a high. It is her best season ever and she takes her best individual placing at the World Cup. Congratulations Mona on a good season, says Ferry to the television channel.
