Björn Ferry is one of Swedish biathlon’s biggest profiles.
Nowadays, the 44-year-old from Stensele acts as an expert in the Winter Studio.
But there, however, he is not completely satisfied with everything.
Bjorn Ferry ended his career as a biathlete in 2014 after 13 years of being active. By far his greatest success in his career is the unforgettable pursuit start during the Olympics in Vancouver 2010 – when Ferry took Sweden’s first gold medal on the men’s side in 50 years after a great race.
The fit for Pops
Ferry also has three WC medals on his CV – one of each denomination. Since his career ended in March 2014, he has stepped into the warmth of the Winter Studio, where he now acts as an expert.

But all is not peace and joy in the Winter Studio – at least not if you ask Björn Ferry. In a chat on SVT ahead of the upcoming biathlon season, he answers a viewer question, and then sends a nice pass to the colleague and the presenter André Pops.
“Provocative”
The viewer in question has noticed that there is a plate of fruit in the Vinterstudio’s studio, and asks the completely sonic Björn Ferry if anyone is actually eating the fruit.
– Yes, I usually take one now and then. But I prefer the buns that used to be. Popsen (André Pops) is also one of those people who can take fruit instead of candy, and that’s a bit provocative, says Ferry.
