Björn Ferry made a comeback in the ski track in a minor competition

Over the past ten years, former biathlete Björn Ferry has mostly hung in SVT’s winter studio.
Recently, however, he made a comeback in the ski track.

“I got hit by some men’s juniors but still held a respectable speed!”, He writes on Instagram.

The immensely popular Björn Ferry46, began his career as a biathlon at the elite level in 2001. When he rounded over 13 years later, he had managed to win an Olympic gold in Vancouver in 2010 and three World Cup medals. He was also awarded the award this year’s performance at the Sports Gala for his impressive victory in the Olympic hunting start.

The family thrives well in Storuman in southern Lapland where they, among other things, deal with forestry. Björn Ferry still commutes to the SVT studio at Gärdet every weekend he works. Probably because there were not so many participants in the competition, but Ferry still stood for a stable effort. However, he was beaten by some youngsters on the 10 km long race.
