Björn Ferry answers why he wasn’t better during his career

Björn Ferry’s highlight of his career was of course the Olympic gold in Vancouver 2010.
In SVT’s “Ask Winter Studio” he tells why he was not better.
– It was like I was a beginner and got well late, he replies.

Nowadays Björn Ferry46, a popular and popular television expert in SVT’s “Winter Studio”-but more than ten years ago he was one of Sweden’s best biathlons. He participated in, among other things, four Olympic championships and seven world championships and he picked up a number of medals.

– If you look at the shooting percentage, it took me five years (to get better), then it was at a good level for the last seven years. But the speed of the dike went down all the time. It was like it wasn’t really finished at the end as a 35-year-old. The best capacity could have been moved five years earlier. So I could get five to six years to compete at the highest level. It was like I was a beginner and got well late, he says.
