Björklöven drives over Mora – goal explosion in Umeå

Mora has started the season strongly and is fourth in the table. Of course, it would be tough to face Björklöven away, but the league leaders from Umeå are completely merciless on their home turf.

After two periods, Björklöven leads with a whopping 8-0.

– Painful for Mora. It is enough to state that Björklöven has a furious offensive. The efficiency is striking, says TV4’s expert Fredrik Söderström.

Moraspeleren: Will make headlines

A dejected Mora player, Kristoffer Gunnarsson, says after two periods, and eight goals conceded, that the team must make a more solid third period so that there will not be even more goals behind.

– It’s too bad. There will be headlines regardless of what we do. The fact that we have conceded so many goals is not something we are proud of. The only thing we can do is try to make it better, says Gunnarsson.

Record profit

In the third period, Björklöven pulled away with three more goals. The final result, 11-0, is the largest margin of victory in the history of the Hockey Allsvenskan.

– What to say. Embarrassing is a good word. Overall, it is far below acceptable, says Mora’s coach Daniel Hermansson after the match.

Björklöven has won all nine games this season and leads the series.
