The ministry statement stated that the number of martyrs rose to 79 and said, “Between 12-14 September 2022, 282 military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan suffered various degrees of physical injuries while preventing large-scale sabotage of the Armenian armed forces.” As 43 of the 282 soldiers were slightly injured, it was stated that the condition of 21 soldiers was serious while returning to duty.

The Ministry of Defense stated that the Armenian army carried out large-scale sabotage in the Kelbajar, Lachin and Dashkesen regions and emphasized that they laid mines between Azerbaijani positions and safe roads. As a result of the mine clearance works carried out by the Azerbaijani army in the region, 100 anti-personnel PMN-E mines, 8 anti-personnel PMN-2 mines and 10 anti-tank mines produced in Armenia were found and neutralized.
