Problem for the bingo winners
Ahead of the New Year’s bingo, two million physical lottery tickets have been printed, but unfortunately something went wrong in the printing process, it states Mathias Skoglundvice president at Folkspel for The Express.
– Now it is not any IT systems this time, but now it is our physical lotteries. After all, there is a scratch under which the serial and lot number is hidden and we have a smaller amount of lottery tickets, it seems, where the scratch has burned on. There has been some kind of problem in the printing process, says Mathias Skoglund, vice president at Folkspel, to Expressen.
This means that tonight’s New Year’s bingo winners cannot register their winnings online. Instead, they must submit the lottery ticket to Folkspel for control.
– What will happen is that when they scratch their ticket, they get a black surface and then we can’t read the serial and ticket number, he tells the newspaper.
He believes that they move as if under a thousand lottery tickets and those who have been affected can follow the instructions on Bingolotto’s website to submit the lottery ticket for verification.
