Two days before the release of this song and its clip, at 4 p.m. this Thursday, the American singer had announced her participation in the feature film directed by Greta Gerwig by publishing a first extract of the title on social networks.
“My brother and I made the song What Was I Made For? for Barbie and it means so much to me. This movie will change your lives and I hope this song will too. Get ready to sob,” Billie Eilish told her 109 million (!) subscribers in an Instagram post announcing the song’s release.
