A 15-year-old girl is wanted by the police after disappearing outside Kalmar.
She was last seen on Wednesday evening and a large search effort is underway.

The girl, who is 15 years old, disappeared last night from her home on Dunö outside Kalmar. During Thursday morning, the police issued a wanted notice on their website.

“Checking everything”
According to the police description, the girl is 150 centimeters tall and has long brown hair. She probably has no outerwear on. The police do not suspect any crime in connection with her disappearance.
– We are looking in the surrounding area and checking everything. The public is also urged to keep their eyes open, says Evelina Olsson.
Uses dogs and drones
Those who want to help in the search are asked to travel on foot and not by car.
– We have dog patrols out and do not want any tracks to be destroyed, says Evelina Olsson.
In the search, the police also use drones and regular patrols. The coast guard has also been called in to help search the water.
– The public is also asked to check their gardens and other spaces, says Evelina Olsson.
No civil organizations have been called into the search.
