After Russia’s operation against Donbass this morning, citizens in Ukraine are in great panic. A Turkish citizen living in the town of Cherkasy stated that the people were in lines at gas stations and markets, while in Lviv, the shelves were empty in super markets, and there was a queue in front of pharmacies and banks.
“THE REGIONAL PEOPLE ARE VERY APPRECIATED”
Kaan Celik, a Turkish citizen living in the town of Cherkasy, south of Ukraine’s capital Kiev, shared the latest developments. Stating that the people of the region are very nervous and the sounds of explosions can be heard from the city of Cherkasy on the Kiev side, Çelik stated that the people are in line at the gas stations and markets. Kaan Çelik stated that there are shelters from the Soviet Union period under many houses, and that they will put the supplies they collect in these shelters.
SHELVES ARE EMPTY IN MARKETS
In the city of Lviv, which is close to the border with Poland and Slovakia and far from areas where conflicts are intense, people queued in front of pharmacies and banks. In the markets, the shelves were empty.
