The official FDJ website experienced a breakdown on Wednesday August 2 while many players were trying to validate their grids for the August 2 Loto draw in the evening. A prize pool of 11 million euros was at stake.
Loto fans had cold sweats on Wednesday evening when validating their Loto grid on the FDJ website. If it was impossible for you to access the grids and fill in the desired numbers or simply to play as usual, know that you were not the only one! La Française des Jeux has experienced a major bug on its website.
Faced with the influx of messages, the company has also responded to many worried Internet users, encouraging them to go to a game point to validate their grids in extremis. “Hello, A technical incident is temporarily impacting LOTO and Euro Millions on our site and application. You don’t want to miss the draw, we invite you to take your bets at the point of sale. Thank you for your understanding. The FDJ team“, could we read on the Twitter account of the company in response to numerous messages.
This Thursday, August 3 in the morning, the official site still displayed an error message, as noted by the editorial staff in the middle of the morning:
“The network of points of sale was not affected by this incident”, specifies the FDJ
Questioned by Linternaute.com, the Française des Jeux informs that the incident “has now been resolved since 11:55 a.m.” this Thursday, August 3. The FDJ “deplores a technical incident which occurred yesterday Wednesday August 2 from 5:40 p.m. to 7:40 p.m. which prevented digital gambling from Loto and EuroMillions-My Million on its website and application”. Only players who wanted to play online were affected. If you have validated your grid in an authorized FDJ point of sale, for example your kiosk, your tobacconist or press point, your game has therefore been registered.
On the other hand, if you were the victim of this breakdown and were unable to play online because of this breakdown of the FDJ site, please note that you will not be debited. “All the stakes concerned have been reimbursed”, assured us the FDJ, which specifies that it had “immediately kept the online players concerned informed”. If you have any questions, it is recommended to contact FDJ customer service.
Finally, be aware that despite this bug, the draw took place on Wednesday evening but no player found the right combination! You had to play 9, 12, 18, 23 and 32. The lucky number was 9. 12 million euros will thus be at stake in the next draw, scheduled for Saturday 5 August.
