Present at the Capcom Showcase earlier this week, Exoprimal made a resounding comeback at the Xbox Games Showcase Extended. For Capcom, the idea was indeed to focus on the PvE mode and which responds to the name of “Wild Glove”. This is a cooperative mode where teams of 5 players engage in scripted missions that will be renewed every week. The goal is to deliver new and regular content so as not to lose the interest of the players, knowing that these missions (limited in time) will take place after the end of the main story (endgame). Capcom specifies that the missions will be replayable, which will allow the different groups to find the right tactic to have the best rankings and thus obtain rewards.
In addition to the presentation of this competitive PvE mode, Takuro Hiraoka, the game director of the game, also unveiled new Exoskeletons. They are obviously different from the basic costumes, and will offer different skills. For example, while Deadeye usually comes equipped with an assault rifle, his Alpha variant comes with a burst-firing weapon and a shotgun. Alpha Variant Exoskeletons will be coming to Exoprimal in a post-launch title update. New content will be added to the game every season.
The complete list of alpha variants of Exoskeletons:
- Deadeye Alpha: Burst Fire
- Zephyr Alpha: Energy Chakram
- Alpha Dam: Rocket Hop
- Vigilant Alpha: Marksman
- Roadblock Alpha: Fortress Shield
- Krieger Alpha: Charge Shotgun
- Murasame Alpha: Frost Glaive
- Witchdoctor Alpha: Duality Beam
- Skywave Alpha: Thunderclap
- Nimbus Alpha: Double Barrel
The release of Exoprimal is expected for July 14, 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One, knowing that it will be available day one in the Xbox Game Pass.
