Swish was affected by disturbances on Saturday evening which affected payments made with the payment service.
Shortly after 01:00, Swish announced that the general problems had been solved, but barely an hour later, new problems arose. This time, however, the disruptions only apply to payments made to or from Swedbank, writes Swish on its website.
There is no indication of when the problem is expected to be resolved.
Denmark’s largest Christmas tree has fallen over. The 26 meter high specimen was erected at a shopping center in Kolding on Wednesday but broke and fell already on Friday evening.
– It’s a shame, because the tree is supposed to be a symbol of Christmas joy. But I am most happy that no one was hurt, says Carsten Lindblad, center manager in Kolding.
Exactly what happened to the tree and how it could fall over is not clear. During Saturday, workers were on site cutting up the intended Christmas tree.

US President Joe Biden condemned at his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Peru that North Korean soldiers were sent to Russia to participate in the war against Ukraine.
Biden said it represents a dangerous expansion of Russia’s illegal war against Ukraine.
It has serious implications for peace and security in Europe and the Pacific, according to a White House statement on Biden’s message to Xi.

The pursuit of peaceful coexistence and the Ukraine war are in focus when Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Joe Biden meet in Peru’s capital Lima.
During the meeting, Xi said Beijing will “strive for a smooth transition” in relations with the United States and that both countries should continue to strive for long-term peaceful coexistence, China’s state news agency New China reports.
– China is ready to work with a new administration, says Xi Jinping.
Biden is expected to raise the issue of North Korea’s involvement in the war between Russia and Ukraine, and try to get China to use its influence on the North Korean regime to prevent the situation from escalating.

Two emergency rockets landed on Saturday near Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea, south of Haifa.
In a joint statement, the police and the Israeli security police Shin Bet write that the prime minister and his family were not at home at the time, but that the incident is considered serious.
About a month ago, a drone was targeted at Netanyahu’s residence, which the Shia militia Hezbollah claimed responsibility for.
A man in his 70s was hit today by parts of a tree in the wind in Hedesunda outside Gävle.
The police were alerted to the incident at 11.30am on Saturday.

Donald Trump has appointed Chris Wright as Secretary of Energy in his incoming administration.
Wright is today the manager of the company Liberty Energy, which supplies equipment to oil fields.
According to Reuters, Wright supports Trump’s plans to maximize oil and gas extraction, and has called climate activists “alarmist”.
– There is no climate crisis, and we are not in the middle of an energy transition, he said in a video that was posted on his Linkedin profile last year, writes Reuters.
At least ten newborn babies have died after a fire in the neonatal unit of a hospital in Uttar Pradesh in northern India.

44 children could be saved, but at least 16 are in critical condition.
The fire must have been caused by an electrical fault.
A villa started to burn in Sunne municipality on Saturday evening.
The alarm came in shortly before 9 p.m. on Saturday evening. The fire was difficult to extinguish due to strong winds, and the rescue service has now decided to let the villa burn down.

An elderly patient sought treatment for sensory disturbances and motor problems but was sent home.
Later that day, the patient had a stroke, writes VLT.
The symptoms corresponded to what is usually called a TIA – that is, a blood clot in the brain that dissolves by itself but is seen as a warning signal for a stroke.
Later that day, the patient again sought emergency care with left-sided weakness and slurred speech. After being admitted to the stroke department, it was established that the patient had suffered a stroke.
The incident has now been reported to the Inspectorate for Care and Care (Ivo) according to lex Maria.

There is a problem with the voting during tonight’s “Idol” on TV4.
– Due to technical problems, it is not possible to vote on TV4 Play right now. But phone numbers and text messages work just fine, says presenter Pär Lernström in the live broadcast.

A minipony has been killed in a wolf attack north of Malmköping during the night of Saturday, writes Swedish Hunting.
On November 8, the county board decided on protective hunting in the area. This after several domestic animals were killed by wolves, including an alpaca.
Earlier last autumn, a mini Shetland pony was killed by a wolf in Skövde municipality.
During Saturday evening, many users of Swish report that their app is crashing.

A warning alarm has been triggered on a plane on its way to Arlanda.
