Edvin Anger is a great Swedish hope for the World Cup in Trondheim, now he gives a cocky impression when he ends up in word war with Martin Ponsiluomawhich is also not shy.
Edvin indicates outside the podium in Falun
During the previous weekend Edvin competed during the World Cup which took place at home. When he was talking to News24 he told us about the weekend and the incredible support he received.
“Very good weekend and fun to be here in Falun, there have been super people,” he said, continuing:
– It felt good, it did, because it was tough. It was a pity that you had to release five seconds too much on top to keep up.
He notes that the form for the World Cup is on top, even though he missed the podium:
– Absolutely, that’s really. It feels like the basic level is extremely good, I have all placements in the top ten which is very good.

It all started with biathlon expert Björn Ferry noted that Ponsiluoma is the top three in Sweden in cross -country skiing, whereupon Ponsiluoma’s national team colleague Sebastian Samuelsson meant he was number one.
When the cross -country skiers gathered at a press conference before the World Cup, Edvin indicates the question of just that, and then it was words and no songs from the sprint specialist.
– I think there is so much talk from those biathlons without showing anything. For me, they are happy to show anything without talking, they are extremely good at talking, he says.

In an interview with Express Ponsiluoma replied to the claims that were thrown around, and he was stiff in his answers.
– I don’t really know, there is a lot of talk around how we had stood but I don’t think we had done away with it. We see Hedegart in Norway, he was well eight in Lillehammer on national foot 30 seconds ahead of the best Swedish so it says a little about the level as well.
When he was asked if he did not want to invest in cross -country skiing, there was no doubt:
– I’m not craving for length. You see the frame here, biathlon is really number one.
He emphasized the mood again:
– Absolutely, this is how we have it every weekend. When they have it a weekend they are overjoyed. It is a big difference and I am happy to be a biathlon.
