Last minute… An explosion occurred in Lviv, in the west of Ukraine. An official from the Lviv City Council said that three explosions were heard near the city.
“There were three powerful explosions near Lviv… Everyone should stay calm and stay indoors,” City Council official Igor Zinkevych wrote on Facebook.
Eyewitnesses said thick black smoke was rising from the northeast of the city. The cause of the explosions, however, has not yet been determined.
BIDEN IN POLAND
While it was estimated that the explosion in the city of Lviv, on the border with Poland, was made by the Russian army, the timing did not go unnoticed.
The city of Lviv, where the explosion took place, is only 90 kilometers from Poland, where US President Joe Biden was visiting. (Reuters)
