Biennial composition with creditors, Young accountants: extend membership terms

Biennial composition with creditors Young accountants extend membership terms

(Finance) – “The Biennial preventive agreement represents a central element of government action at a fiscal level, but it is not possible to continually propose new regulatory measures: what is needed is greater stabilityfor both professionals and taxpayers”.
This is what he says Francesco Cataldipresident of the National Union of Young Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts, “in reiterating the need for a suitable interval of time for operators after any regulatory change – in compliance with the provisions of the Taxpayer’s Statute”.

For this reason theNational Union of Young Chartered Accountants asks for “an extension of the deadlines to finalize the adhesion to the Concordat, for the benefit of our work and of a greater audience of taxpayers who can decide to apply it”.

Francesco Paolo FabbriUNGDCEC councilor, notes that, “with the approval of the latest regulatory provision linked to the biennial preventive composition agreement, we find ourselves at ‘undergo’ yet another legislative change: and this time we no longer discuss the tone used to encourage potential beneficiaries, but we witness a real one increased sanctiongiven by the significant reduction of the thresholds for the application of additional penalties for the subjects who will not join the Concordat (or who will in any case lapse from its application), as well as those who will not benefit from the amnesty introduced as a further innovation. All this less than a month from what is currently the deadline for adhering or not to the proposals in question.”

Cataldi and Fabbri they remark as “the request for extensionalthough necessary, leaves a bad taste in our mouths: we have always reiterated that sending the declaration forms approximately one year after the end of the reference tax period represents a paradox; as professionals we can do nothing but express dissent from this practice which leads us, close to the end of a new year, to still be busy with activities and obligations relating to the previous year, limiting how much good we could and would like to do to support the development choices of our customers”.
